Hughes Springs Volunteer Fire Department

Picture
Hughes Springs VFD was established in 1937, and has always consisted of men and woman that are ready and willing to serve this great community. The current Fire Station was built in 1979.  This group drops all they are doing when their neighbors call for assistance.  Medical calls to fires, they are there. They have spent hours upon hours training and honing skills to be ready when you call. They are proud to serve our great community and are willing to put their lives on the line to protect lives and property from fire and other disasters. They also promote training and practice of fire prevention.

Come join us! We meet every week on Tuesday night starting at 7:00 PM.

Fire Alarms save lives!!! You should have at least one fire alarm or smoke detector for each floor of your house, and one in the kitchen, laundry room, and hallways. You can purchase fire alarms or smoke detectors for around $15.  You should test your alarms at least once a month. Remember these alarms could save your life!
